11400 S. Sewer Outfall Phase II
The construction of the 11400 South Sewer Outfall required a 60 IN jack and bore under Midas Creek and the removal of a 10 IN PVC sewer main. The old sewer main was replaced with 4,550 LF of 42 IN diameter PVC pipe at 10-20 FT deep. Large 84 IN manholes were installed and 48 lateral sewer connections were made along the main pipe. Bypass pumping was required at over 2,500 GPM and a large diversion structure was constructed at the intersection of 11800 S and 2700 W with stainless steel sluice gates. The project used CCTV inspection and traffic control on a UDOT roadway. The project was completed from 11400 S. to 11800 S. on the following roads: Charter Point Way, Chapel Rim Way, 11625 S., and 2700 W.
